With over five years of experience in the accounting and tax industry, in March 2020, Dakota Grady was fired from his job in Tennessee. Within 7 years, Dakota lost four jobs (with the last one happening during the Covid-19 pandemic). He was tired, busted, and disgusted. Feeling defeated, Dakota's wife encouraged him to start his own accounting/bookkeeping and tax business. That glimmer of hope from his wife motivated Dakota to found Upstate Essential Solutions, LLC. 

Fast forward to 2025, Dakota is serving healthcare entrepreneurs (i.e., Medpreneurs - nurse practitioner entrepreneurs, aesthetic entrepreneurs, and med spa owners) to help them overcome common bookkeeping and tax pitfalls to transform their business finances. Dakota, aka The Accounting & Tax Doctor, currently serves clients in person and virtually in Florida, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Indiana, Georgia, and South Carolina. 

Dakota also hosts the Your Money Hour Show on YouTube and other podcast platforms as DG, The Money Coach.

Dakota is a husband, girl dad to two daughters, and loves spending time with family.
